Circa: 1950s

Description: An absolutely outstanding vintage crinoline petticoat . Perfect for bridal gown, ball gown, Civil War, Victorian, Southern Belle, Renaissance SCA or Medieval period reenactment gowns. Made in a polished cotton.. the ruffles have a white nylon mesh trim. It's a 4 metal hoop design with the hoops covered in a canvas like fabric. There is a slit to remove them to have the skirt cleaned. Two bows one blue and one pink are pinned on the bottom area of skirting. They can be removed or add some more. In lovely gently worn condition. Label:“Fred Perlberg” who designed fabulous evening gowns starting in the 1940's.

Measurements:  labeled vintage 11/12 Waist: 24 - can move the hooks over to get a 28 max . size - if you wanted to you could add a elastic strip to get a few more inches - the side has an open slit Length: 42'' long and 134'' sweep

 This Hoop Skirt came from Valerie in MN who had this from her Grandmother. 

The box it was stored in was dated early 1900's and it is still in great shape!  Thank you Valerie for this great find!
